This is our second winter living in the country. Last year we did a lot of sledding down the hill alongside our house. However, we have since planted a new tree and we ran into an existing tree quite a few times. So, this year Tom decided to get some straw bales to line the hill. His vision of a straw lined sledding hill changed into “like a luge” as we hauled bale after bale down the hill. It took us a few days and several trips to pick up straw but we finished the luge just in time for our first big snowstorm of the season.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. ~ Isaiah 55:12
